The San Diego Literacy Hall of Fame was formed to bring recognition and remembrance to those in our community who over a period of time, brought dedicated and passionate support and leadership towards greater literacy in our community. The inductees date back to the formation of the San Diego Council on Literacy in 1986. Every year in December, we revisit and reinforce our gratitude to these champions. This takes place at the San Diego Council on Literacy’s “Literacy Champions Reception.”
