Project Literacy

 

ABC 10 News recently put the spotlight on local literacy efforts in their “Project Literacy” special. The news segment emphasizes the need for literacy programming, noting that 560,000 adults in San Diego County read at an elementary school level or not at all.

Among the featured literacy organizations are San Diego Council on Literacy, Words Alive, Oceanside Public Library, San Diego Public Library, and San Diego County Library.
